COVID-19 Risk Management Measures

Here at The Treatment Lab, we take the safety of our staff and patients seriously.  We are following the latest guidance from the government, our professional body BASRaT and Public Health England.  Below are the additional measures that we have taken to enhance hygiene and maintain the highest standards of safety to protect our staff and patients.

Changes to the clinic

Our waiting room has been changed to space seats apart.  However, we do ask that you do not arrive more than 5 minutes early for your appointment.  If you do arrive more than 5 minutes early, please wait in your car if possible.

On arrival at the clinic, please wash your hands or use the hand sanitiser available.

We have left time between appointments to allow for cleaning, and also to reduce the amount of people in the reception area.

We will no longer use couch covers, and will continue as normal to use couch roll for every patient.

Chairs for patients in reception and the treatment rooms have been replaced to allow cleaning with sanitiser between uses.

Pillows and face cushions have been replaced to allow cleaning with sanitiser between uses.

Our therapists will wear appropriate PPE during your treatment.  Government guidance does not require you to wear a face covering, but you can if you wish to bring one.

Screening of staff

All staff monitor any symptoms of COVID-19 for themselves and people that they live with.  We also record the temperature of staff each day.  If any symptoms are present, our staff will self isolate.
